Hunting at Rousseaux offers an unforgettable experience filled with tradition, excitement, and camaraderie. As part of our annual hunting plan, you will have the opportunity to hunt stags, does, roe deer, fallow deer, and, of course, wild boar.
Spanning over 315 hectares of open countryside, Rousseaux is an exceptional hunting ground where exclusively wild game roams freely.
Your day begins with a hearty breakfast, followed by administrative formalities. Positions are then drawn, and a full briefing is given, covering safety, shooting instructions, and the day’s itinerary.
The hunt typically consists of three drives, after which the game is located and retrieved. The day concludes with a traditional game presentation, the awarding of hampers, and a convivial lunch to celebrate the experience.

Les Rousseaux is a stunning 315-hectare hunting estate in the heart of Sologne, featuring two ponds, natural springs, and a stream that remains well-fed even during heatwaves. The land is rich in acorns, chestnuts, and other natural food sources, ensuring excellent conditions for wild game, particularly sows raising their young.

About the hosts
My mother came from a long line of Sologne families, deeply rooted in the region’s hunting traditions. My wife and I, aged 63 and 61, took over this beloved estate after my mother’s passing, ensuring its legacy continues for our children and future generations.
Hunting has always been at the heart of this family story, and we are honored to share this passion with you.
