Hawarden Sporting is set in the picturesque Hawarden Estate in the North Wales/Cheshire Borders. Hawarden is a traditional family shoot who's values rest on a no pressure, no judgement fun day with like minded people. Drives range from both parkland and woodland settings which have been grown over the last 3 years to accommodate more diverse shooting opportunities. We welcome both experienced game shots and people who are new to the game shooting world young and old.
Hospitality
Full English Breakfast is provided on arrival at the Hawarden Estate Pavilion 'Gun Room' and breaks in the field are accompanied by traditional "Gin and Fizz". Our friendly host staff offer hot and cold refreshments at elevenses featuring local produce and often game dishes either over a firepit or back at the 'Gun Room'. At the end of the day, we return to our hospitality venue for a shoot meal. Please contact us to discuss your dietary requirements. We offer support regarding accommodation, providing you with options from premium to more affordable choices, based on your budget and up to date availability.
About the hosts
Our Shoot days are a family affair run by Lee Bellis who's daughters are both in attendance most days and both keen shots with a father/son Keeper/Under keeper team.

Only 15 mins from Chester and the M56 motorway . Hawarden Airport is only 5 mins away.

A fantastic day, hospitality was great, everyone on the team was lovely and very knowledgeable and helpful, we had a veriety of Guns ranging from very experienced, to those on their first driven, and even some young Guns, everyone had birds to challenge them and make for a very rewarding day for all. The estate is beautiful and our hosts chose excellent drives with good quality birds. Drinks, elevenses and dinner was spot on, excellent offerings all round. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful estate,friendly,relaxed day.. I shot at Hawarden 2024 season.Plenty of birds in every drive.The hospitality was fantastic.Gun bus around the estate to the drives so no parking issues and the pavilion is a lovely setting for a meal and a drink after the great day.. Looking forward to returning this season..
