Our shoot is situated in Essex around Gt Saling it is made up of woods and cover crop where we release both French and English partridge and pheasants. The topography of our land means we can show good sporting birds. We cater for 150 to 200 bird days for up to 10 guns.
Guns are encouraged to bring their own dogs if they wish to but we have a team of picker ups and beaters with dogs who have been with us for many seasons so it is your choice. We offer a good days sport with the hospitality to match with over 15 drives to choose from we can arrange each teams day to suit their needs from partridge drives to pheasant drives, with the addition of woodcock we have something for everyone.

Great day from Start to finish. Welcomed by Keith and Team for Bacon roll and coffee. 4 drives and the birds were fantastic and flew very well. Will definitely be back and highly recommend a visit.

Another brilliant day at Yorney. New keeper Richard and catering manager Jackie have added a6n extra dimension. The volume of birds was staggering and flying downwind presented a challenge for any gun. The birds were distributed along the line and every gun had plenty of opportunity. It's a friendly shoot and makes newcomers welcome. Highly recommended

Just back home after a September day on the partridges and wanted to thank Keith, the new Keepers Richard and Robert and Jackie in the kitchen for a great day. Plenty of birds presented wonderfully in the stiff breeze including for me possibly the furthest partridge I have shot in fifty years shooting and all topped off with some great food and banter. Looking forward to the next one!
