We are a family run friendly shoot based in Boreham Essex just outside of Chelmsford near to the A12, making easy to access from london.
The shoot has been running for about ten years and is starting to get established. We specialize in between 150 to 200 birds
all guns will be expected to have their own insurance insurance preferably being basc members
Well behaved dogs are welcome
We do not charge overage but expect a 3 to 1 ratio.
Good accommodation is available locally at good rates.
We are a mid week shoot, shooting from monday to friday
Other shoot days are available

It is quite a lighthearted shoot with good humour and banter expected.

Topography
The shoot is spread over 1,800 acres mostly in one block consisting of woodland maize cover crop, sugar beet, wildbird mix, oil seed rape and cereal crops with 16 different drives of a mixture of partridge and pheasants with the occasional duck or goose. We have our own gun bus to transport the guns around the shoot which we prefer to use as it adds to the atmosphere with all the guns travelling together.
Conservation Efforts
We have plenty of wild bird mix dotted around the farm and also do supplementary bird feed

19th Sept. Plenty of birds. The high temperature and no wind didn’t help but the staff worked hard to ensure we made the bag. I have had excellent shooting there in the past.
