Penns produces good quality pheasants presented over both open and wooded valley's.

We have partridges mixed into some of our drives which provide variety and excitement.

Penns benefits from rolling valleys which almost all the drives are located.

Some of the drives you stand in woodland along the bottom of the the valley in cut out gun stands. with game covers and the woodland above being brought in from above.

The Penns Estate is in both Countryside Stewardship and The Sustainable Farming Incentive these stewardship options and the shoot make the Estate a wildlife sanctuary.

Vermin control has enabled brown hares to come back to The Estate this year.

The shoot days are hosted by the Estate team and most of the time the owner.

Penns Estate lies about 5.5 miles from the centre of Tunbridge Wells and 11.6 miles from East Grinstead with good access via the A264. Tunbridge Wells train station is 5.4 miles to the north east and provides regular train services to London. London is 45 mins by car depending o traffic. Gatwick Airport is located 20 miles to the west.

Hendal Farm is accessed from the B2188 1.3 miles south from Groombridge Village and is sign-posted.

With prior arrangement transfers can be arranged on your behalf.

Shoot transport can be provided but it is preferable that guns bring their own 4X4 if possible
