Hastingford Shoot.
Hastingford Shoot is a small friendly shoot in East Sussex and is open to all from beginners through to experienced guns.
We hold many driven shooting days throughout the season with mixed bags of Duck, Pheasant and the occasional Woodcock.
Our shoot days are held over two sides of the rolling valley with a small car drive between venues.
We aim to shoot 60 to 80 birds per day. We start with a hot bacon/sausage bap served with a choice of hot drinks. We then have a quick safety briefing before drawing pegs and set off about 9 / 9.30 for the first drive.....
After the second drive we offer refreshments of Tea/coffee. We then commence our third drive. After which we head back for lunch (a tasty home cooked meal) all served in our comfortable gun lodge overlooking the main lake. After lunch we head out for another drive or 2 ( depending on the bag ).
At the end of the day , guns are invited back to the the lodge for tea/coffee and a slice of cake to have a chat and reflect upon the day. Upon leaving guns will be presented with a brace of birds and a detailed card of the days bag .
Total cost for a days shooting per gun is £300.00. In addition a keepers tip is also appreciated . Please contact direct for information on corporate days.

Attended Sat 3rd Jan 2015. Very pleased I did the shoot. What stood out was the very friendly welcome I was given by both the staff and the other guns. The sit down hot lunch in the lodge was very good with sausage baps on arrival and plenty of coffee mid morning and at the end of the shoot. I will definitely be back.

What a day. Stopped in a lay by as I couldn't find it, poured a cup of coffee and then John walks round the corner and says are you looking for us!! It was such a great start to my second season, I couldn't have been made more welcome. The birds ranged from difficult to easy so you could take your time and really enjoy the shooting. Thank you all for a great day. I will be returning so watch out!!!!!

If you are looking for a friendly and welcoming shoot then I would really recommend Hastingford. Its relaxed atmospehere and picturesque setting made for a great days shooting. All in all great birds, setting, people and food!! I will definitely be back...

A small friendly East Sussex shoot, that gives you a warm welcome! John and Phil work hard to give you a great day. A comfortable lodge and a great lunch cooked by Rachel, the haunch of venison shot by Phil on the shoot was my favourite, I look forward to coming back this season!

Very welcoming and friendly team, lovely food including breakfast and afternoon tea. A consistent amount of shooting for all guns in every peg position with an array of different drives. Booked in for another consecutive season.
