Barelands offers some of the best stalking in the South East of England. Easily accessible from London. We offer guests the opportunity to stalk fallow deer either through our ancient woodland, or from on of our well appointed double high-seats, and achieve great success given the topography of our estate, and the abundance of wild fallow deer moving through the valley.
Topography
What truly sets Barelands apart is the seamless transition of the Woodlands giving way to meadows, and meadows leading back to stunning wooded glens. This dynamic interplay of terrain keeps the scenery fresh and captivating at every turn while guests stalk through the Estate. Teams shooting on the lake can enjoy game dropping in from great hight over the adjacent woodland making for exciting and challenging shooting.
About the hosts
The Estate host is an accomplished gamekeeper and conservationist, and working with the estate owners, is building an enviable shooting environment for stalking and wildfowling. The natural abundance of wildfowl and deer in the area, and the topography of the sloped woodland to the North of the lake make for an exciting venue.

I have been stalking at Barelands for a few years now, it is absolutely excellent. Nick is very knowledgeable and always gets us onto the abundant deer population on the beautiful estate. On our most recent outing we shot a fantastic fallow buck, absolutely massive animal with medal worthy antlers. I will definitely be going back.
