Raby Estate

The Raby Estate, situated in the heart of the Durham Dales surrounding Raby Castle and located about 12 miles west of Darlington, offers a friendly and informal  day of generally mixed quarry, but comprising mainly semi-wild pheasant on the low ground of the Estate and driven grouse on the high ground of the Estate (eastern edge of the North Pennines).

Grouse shooting days (usually 4 drives per day) are available throughout the season  for established Parties of 8 or 9 Guns who preferably are well known to each other. Bags of up to 150+ brace per day at price by negotiation

Pheasant shooting days (usually 6 drives per day) are available throughout November and December 2012 and January 2013 for up to 6 single Guns but preferably for established Parties of up to 6 Guns who are well known to each other. Bags of 50+ at £330 (inc. VAT) per gun. 

Lunch can be arranged if required at additional cost to the Guns.
