Settled in the heart of Langholm, expanding 35,000 acres we are extremely proud to be able to offer driven days shooting in some beautiful scenery.
Here at Clerkhill we offer the full package, we strive to ensure our guests have a great day out whilst enjoying their days shooting. The acres of farmland, woodland, cover crops, sloping valleys, forrestry and ponds provide guests with a great day shooting.
All of our drives are easily accessible by 4x4 vehicles.
We are lucky to be situated near to both Glasgow or Edinburgh Airports and have a great range of Hotels and B&B’s available for travelling guns.
We have availability for full teams and single pegs. These days we are able to provide between 150 to 300 bird days. You can have a choice of a variety of pheasant, partridge drives and a challenging duck drive.

Produce from our family farm plus game shot and prepared from Clerkhill is used throughout the shoot season to feed our guests.

The range of drives that we offer at Clerkhill means we can meet the needs of all guests. Due to the nature of our drives we produce a range of sporting birds
Topography
From rolling valleys and narrow gullies to lakes, woodland and forestry. Clerkhill has a variety to offer and we can cater to all abilities!
Conservation Efforts
With us having over 30 years farming experience we naturally know how to look after the land we have a variety of wildflowers mixed into our cover crops and only use cover crops that will benefit the local wildlife
About the hosts
The Clerkhill Shoot is run and hosted by husband and wife team Amelia & Richard Jenkinson. We are the point of contact throughout the whole process from enquiries right through to the shoot day. We take pride in the team we have on our shoots and in the days we produce.
Travel information
We are close to Glasgow & Edinburgh Airport. The shoot is easily accessible off the M74. Our nearest town is Lockerbie

Amazing shoot with wonderful hosts. Certainly no shortage of testing birds but something there for everyone. We had a mixed ability of guns and everyone went home very happy. We are now looking to book four days on there for next season. Thanks for a great day.
