The Iwerne Shoot, Iwerne Minster, Dorset

Stunning established  high bird shoot located in picturesque Dorset.

The estate covers some 1300 acres with 400 acres of valleys offering 10/12 mixed days per year.

Let days are run in the same style as our family days - quality shooting in a relaxed and friendly environment.  Our days are geared for 8 guns with up to 8 followers.  The day will be personally hosted by the owner of Iwerne and the shoor is organised by Kevin DAncey who has been with the Estate for 10 years.

Days are usually 300 birds over 4-5 drives.  Your days starts at 9am with coffee served in the main house before leaving at around 9.30am.  Lunch is served at either 1pm or 4pm with elevenses/drinks during the morning.

All 4WD vehicles are supplied and cartridges (Fibre Wad Only please), loaders, instructors etc can also be sourced.                 

For guests who are travelling - accommodation can be sourced in some fine local hostelries - all who are used to hosting shooting parties.
