Coombe Farm Shoot

Coombe Farm Shoot is based on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Sherborne, 5 minutes from the A30 and 10 minutes from the A303.

Situated on our family run farm the shoot is run over 600 of Dorset’s beautiful countryside, boasting two deep valley's.

Keepered by my father Ray we aim to provide a relaxed family run day with all the attributes of a professional commercial shoot. We always ensure a good number of birds are released to provide plenty of choice on each drive through the season.

We meet at the farmhouse at 9:00 - 9:15, beaters move out around 9:30. During the morning two or three drives will be shot before elevenses and savoury snacks, followed by two drives before dinner. We usually shoot through and eat at one of our local pubs, but obviously this year things have been slightly more challenging so eating requirements can be easily discussed.
