Charborough Shoot

The home beat on a private traditional rural estate in south Dorset, a limited number of days are let each year.

This pheasant and partridge shoot covers parkland, farmland and woodland. The emphasis is on medium sized days (c140-200 birds) showing a variety of sporting but achievable birds in a friendly, well organised but relaxed atmosphere.

The Estate has good access from all directions and is located to the north west of Poole.

Coffee is served on arrival and a safety briefing given before leaving in the Gun Wagon for the first drive. We normally shoot four drives before lunch, with a break for refreshments mid morning. Lunch is held in the Almer Shoot Room followed by the two afternoon drives. Tea is then served back at the Shoot Room to complete the day. We can shoot through with or without lunch if required.

We are delighted to welcome back several teams each year. Our days are normally for eight guns with each gun welcome to bring a non shooting partner. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
