This small family run, non for profit shoot, looks to sell one or two days a year. Totleigh Barton is nestled into the Torridge Valley and offers stunning views of the river Torridge and the spectacular surrounding undulating North Devonshire countryside.
Extending to over 500 acres, we aim to produce challenging birds, which on the first two drives will hopefully provide interesting and testing quarry for even an experienced gun. The bag of 50/60 pheasants can be supplemented by the opportunity to shoot snipe, woodcock and pigeon.
We meet in the farm yard at 9.45am, where pegs are drawn. The morning drives are all within walking distance so there is no need for vehicles to get around. There will be a further 2 or 3 drives after lunch. A warm and hearty meal is provided and lunch which is taken around the warmth of a wood burning stove in the farm barn.
There is availability for a team of 7/8 guns (ideally to be taken by one group) To shoot on Saturday 28th January 2017.
Price, £225/Peg.
If you want to have a relaxing and memorable weekend, outstanding value food & accommodation is available at the Half Moon Pub in Sheepwash, which is 1 mile from the shoot. Just try the Full Moon breakfast, you'll be well set for the day! The cosy bar has a variety of ales to quench your thirst, and an extensive menu is available for dinner.
