Set in rolling Devon countryside with steep wooded valleys and traditional farmland. The varied terrain creates natural funnels for presenting testing birds. Ancient coppiced woodlands interspersed with open farmland provide a stunning backdrop for a days shooting.

We maintain extensive wildbird habitat including 15 acres of wild bird cover and 3 miles of hedgerow. Active predator control benefits ground nesting birds throughout the estate. We follow the Code of Good Shooting Practice and are members of the GWCT.

Hosted by the Taylor family who have farmed this land for three generations. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere with emphasis on great sport and good company. Our experienced keeper John ensures every drive runs smoothly while keeping the day enjoyable for all.

Located near Exeter, easily accessible from the M5 motorway. Exeter St Davids station is 15 minutes away. Parking available on site.

Test Farm has been a working shoot for over 50 years. The farmhouse dates to the 17th century and the estate has a rich history of field sports. Dogs are welcome. We can accommodate groups of 6-10 guns and offer flexible packages for individuals and corporate days.
