Lustford shoot is situated on the North Devon coast with easy access from the A39. The shoot comprises of large hanging woodlands, cover crops, wetland and grassland with stunning views.
We have a wide range of drives from large high hanging woodland valleys to cover crop plots situated on top of good North Devon hills showing good quality pheasants. A couple of drives have duck ponds situated in the drives with wild duck flighting in from the near by coast and rivers.
The shoot has 11 drives to choose from on the day based on weather conditions with good tracks and roads around the shoot making for easy access to drives.
Hospitality
Guns will be met at the shoot shed with bacon baps, tea and coffee before shooting. Then at lunch hot pasties both meat and vegetable will be offered along with cake and treats. At the end of the day it's back to the shoot shed for refreshments before retiring to a good local pub for a wonderful dInner and drinks with the team.
Topography
Steep rolling Devon hills with large hanging woodland valleys made up of broadleaf and spruce trees with cover crops split in two acre plots situated on top of the hills,, Also wetland concealing flighting ponds.
Conservation Efforts
We work closely with the farmers and land owners to create large rewilding areas with trees planted across drives. All cover crops are consistently planted with all varieties of birds, bees and insects in mind and not just for shooting.
About the hosts
The hosts are very friendly and passionate about all forms of shooting from game, vermin and deer stalking. The hosts have been brought up in a shooting family and been running the shoot now for 9 years. They'll try their hardest to give you a fantastic day with good shooting and great fun with like minded people to create great memories.
