The shoot is situated right on the Devon and Cornwall border with picturesque views of the Tamar Valley. It is a family run shoot and will be run by the shoot owner. Most of the pegs are out in the open and a lot of the drives are from cover crops with some from woodlands.There will be plenty of birds in the drives which means that a lot of the birds are very challenging. The day is run in a professional way whilst being relaxed and friendly, we try to provide a day that everyone enjoys.On arrival at the farm coffee and tea is served, at the briefing a glass of port is served when you pick your peg number. After two drives we stop for soup and sausages with a glass of sloe gin. Followed by a further two to three drives depending on the number of birds required. Then we go back to the Copper penny Inn which is the shoot owned pub for a lovelly 3 course meal.

Price £50 per bird

Accomodation is available at a Top Class Hotel (The Horn Of Plenty Country House Hotel & Restaurant) or if preferred there is farmhouse bed and breakfast within 1/2 mile of the shoot by seperate arrangement.
