Cornworthy Court Farm

Cornworthy Court Farm Shoot is located on the picturesque banks of the River Dart. Set in 300 acres of rolling Devonshire countryside, the shoot offers some challenging shooting. As a sindicate of 10 guns we are a friendly shoot which releases 500 birds per season, shoot days bagging around 30 birds. The days are informal, meeting at our shoot shed for 10 am the Shoot Captain, will give a briefing and guns will draw pegs. We have tried to minimise the distance between drives and have 9 drives to choose from, such as Big Wood, Kirkham and the Guile to name a few. Guns can easily walk between drives, however we try to ensure a lift back to the shoot shed for lunch and at the end of the day. Some of the drives provide challenging high birds, which can be very tricky as they fly out towards the River Dart. Other drives with cover crop provide the odd suprise with birds flying left and right as they are driven towards the gunline by the team of beaters. If you are looking to join a friendly syndicate, we have 1 full and 1 half gun available for the 2019 season. Although we cannot guarantee big bags, we can guarantee a friendly shoot where you will be made most welcome here in Devon.
