Bridwell Sporting is a well established family run shoot based on the Devon Somerset border. Being based just 5 mins from junction 27 and 10 minutes from Tiverton Parkway train station we are in the perfect location for easy access for people from all over the country. We specalise in driven duck days and evening duck flighting with customer satisfaction being our top priority with good sporting birds and second to none hospitality. What makes us different is our duck drives are mainly on rivers so are true driven duck as opposed to round and round ducks.
Hospitality
Breakfast is the best way to start your day. We provide bacon rolls tea coffee on arival. All refreshments are provided throughout the day including soft and alchaholic drinks. We provide a light elevenses in the field and finish the day on a hearty 2 course pub meal.
Birds
Bridwell is garunteed to show a large amount of birds for guns of all abilitys. With 16 different drives there is something for everyone.
Topography
Being based in devon we are blessed with spectacular devon countryside. We have 19 different drives varying fom sloping valleys,beautiful ancient parkland to low flood plains producing some very
challenging birds for all shooting abilities. All our drives are within a easy walk from car parking areas.
Travel information
We are 5 minutes from tiverton parkway train station. 5 mins from the m5 and 20 minutes from exeter airport. Transport to and from trains and planes can be aranged

I went on my first ever shoot at Bridwell yesterday. I found the day via Guns on Pegs, so had no idea what to expect. I needn’t have been concerned though, as the day was exceptional in every way. Plenty of birds available for every standard of gun, indeed there were some truly high birds that I’m sure needed flight clearance from Exeter Airport flight control. Also plenty of birds within the reach of lesser skilled guns...me included :o). With so many birds in flight some of the guns commented that they could wait and pick and choose when to shoot rather than ‘blast away’ to get the bag. Hospitality , as promised, was spot on with David and the team making everyone welcome. At the end of the day I went home with a brace and a smile. My first ever shoot at Bridwell will definitely not be my last.

I’ve taken a team of guns hear on multiple occasions over the last 5 years, after shooting what could only be described as substandard duck at other shoots, it was a refreshing change to see driven duck of this calibre, with multiple drives we’ve very rarely shot the same drive twice only where my team has requested a particular drive, the days have always run smoothly with a good level of hospitality. This is a hidden gem and one not to miss
