Moorhay Shoot

The Moorhay Shoot - 1500 pheasants released to wood shooting 9 Saturdays from mid October.The topography of the shoot consists of steep woodland, gorse and cover crops that produce some testing high quality birds and Woodcock,Duck,Partridge and Pigeon can be included in the day.

We are a driven shoot with a good team of beaters and pickers up, Meeting at 0900 with the emphasis on quality shooting and good company a typical day would be two or three drives in the morning before a break for lunch then depending on the head more drives in the afternoon,With steep valleys and good cover our shoot is not for the faint hearted for both gun and beater. After the days shooting warm food is served in a country pub.
