Pheasant
Partridge

Catton, set in the National Forest has been organising shoots for over 40 years on the estate. We can arrange days of 100-300 either partridges or pheasants, or mixed days for groups of 8/10 guns.

Our season starts mid September through to the end of January, and we can shoot any day of the week except Sundays.

The estate is approximately 20 miles north of Birmingham and 20 miles south of Derby and 2 miles from the A38 trunk road. Being in the heart of the country makes Catton a very easy place to get to from anywhere in England.

The prices for 2020 are from £26 per bird for rough days to £34.00 for the bigger days + VAT.

The shoot takes place over 2500 acres of privately owned and occupied, rolling countryside and parkland, all within 2 miles of the main house. The estate itself is beautifully maintained and has the stunning backdrop of Catton Hall. The main days are hosted by the owners who will entertain the team in the main hall. Coffee is offered on arrival and at the end of the day with home made cakes/ scones etc.The 2 course lunch is prepared and cooked in house and all drinks and wine are all included. There is also a delicious mid morning snack of home made sausage rolls and soup out in the field.

This is a fun and friendly shoot which takes pride in the quality of our birds and has been run by the family together with the 4th generation of gamekeeper for over 40 years, so we should by now know what we are doing!
