WILD DUCK HUNTING

We are:
Hunting company that organizes hunting Opportunities in the Czech Republic in its own areas and ponds. Our company also offers hunting opportunities to clients from abroad. We also own and operate a pheasantry and a hunting store with weapons and hunting equipment. We currently have two hunting grounds with a total area of 2 500 ha and ten water areas of different sizes and shapes in our offer, including professional hunting care.

WILD DUCK HUNT IN OUR OWN HUNTING AREA We have more than 25 years of experience in the hunting of small game and winged game. Wild duck hunting in particular is part of traditional hunting in the Czech Republic. Every year, we harvest on our ponds about 10, 000 ducks. By agreement, we organize the hunt for groups of 20 to 30 hunters with a minimum harvest expectancy of 500 pieces. We can also organize individual hunts by appointment.

When:

September: 1., 3.9. - 4.9., 10.9. - 11.9., 17.9. - 18.9., 24.9. - 25.9. Where: Our hunts are organized and conducted on our own ponds located in the western part of the Czech Republic near Horažďovice near the village Nalžovské hory. In this location, one can hunt on 10 water ponds or waterways with a total area of about 70 ha. The area is located approx. 40 km from Pilsen near Nepomuk, 50 km from the border with Germany and 135 km from Prague International Airport.

Hunting program: 08:00 meeting 09:30 Start of the hunt 09.00 2-3 ponds 12:00 refreshment (lunch) 13:00 2-3 ponds 16:30 End of the hunt (The indicated times are indicative)

Hunting method: The hunt for ducks is done in different ways:

1. On the shores of ponds and islands - the enriched water area in designated places in the reeds, on dikes, banks and islands.
2. From the pedestrian bridge - built footbridges on the shallows of the pond.
3. Pontoons - firm floating island. This is the most popular type of hunting in which the hunter has the most shooting opportunities and is at the center of the hunt.
4. From ships - the hunter moves around the pond and can thus determine a suitable hunting ground.

Recommended weapon: Shotgun caliber 12/70, also caliber 16/70 - 20/76. Lead shot 3mm - 4mm. During the hunt, we recommend to carry 200-300 cartridges per day / person. After consultation of your ammo, Additional cartridges can also be purchased from us. We also have weapons for lease for a daily fee.

Locality: Our ponds are 450 meters above sea level. It is hunted on 10 ponds or waterways of different size and shape.

The complex is located in a quiet and beautiful part of Bohemia, about 20 km from Klatovy, 15 km from Sušice and 20 km from Horažďovice. The adjoining courtyard has been renovated. It has undergone significant changes and enhancements of the services to the present form of the hotel complex with the most modern riding arena and a wide range of outdoor activities. For our guests, we have prepared 18 individually furnished rooms and suites that are as unique as the hotel itself. Hunting conditions: The hunter must hold a valid firearms license, a hunting license and a hunting insurance in the Czech Republic. We also able to cater the interest of foreign guests looking for a hunting opportunity by providing them with Czech hunting license and insurance valid in the Czech Republic.
