Friendly farm shoot, duck, and pheasant, specialising in high flying ducks. The varied countryside consists of undulating farmland, woodland and riverside with high birds driven from a disused railway embankment providing good sport. There are several flight ponds and a lake.
Refreshment on arrival, dinner at end.

Suit roving single guns or those new to shooting.
Hospitality
Bacon butty and coffee on arrival. Dinner after shoot. Home cooked and served in shoot room.

Recently renewed and restored hedges, managed woodland in stewardship schemes.
About the hosts
Relaxed day provided by the owners. Less able guns are transported to their pegs in a gator.

10 miles from M6 5 miles from A7 Easy drive quiet roads.
Final thoughts
We have been running small scale shoots for many years. Folks have been very complimentary in the past, big bags are not important we just want guns to enjoy themselves and to remember all their shots and to enjoy this picturesque valley.

Fantastic day out with very fast driven partridge the odd pheasant and hundreds of high flying ducks, great hospitality lovely people, booked another day in January highly recommended.
