West Cornwall

Old fashioned Rough shoot in West Cornwall. Probably the most picturesque shoot in England ( on a sunny day!). Walked up and mini driven with pheasant, woodcock, snipe, partridge, pigeon and duck regulary on the game card on the same day.

Small friendly syndicate have been here for over 20 years. Breakfast and lunch taken in our shoot lodge, which we can get a bit to comfortable in next to the woodburner when it's wet outside!. Side by Sides only on our tradional game shoot. Insurance always a must.

Shooting over a mixture of hill, moors, woods and thick cover. Theres rarely a 50 yarder coming over you, but the shooting is still challenging with the average shots to bag ratio at 5 to 1.

The shoot covers about 350 acres and always enjoys a good drop of woodcock and snipe in November to add to the pheasants and partridge that we put down at the end of July.

More birds are going down this year and we are selling a couple of places to join in with the syndicate to top the kitty up, rather than increase the size of the syndicate. The guest guns will be placed in 'the hot spots' to make sure they have a good days sport. A nice change of day from pegged driven shooting.
