Menabilly Barton is a working farm in Cornwall close to the Port of Fowey. Situated on the Gribben headland it has the sea in close proximity with views up the coast past Fowey towards Plymouth one way and St Austell Bay the other. The shoot, which has been running for approximately 30 years, takes advantage of the diverse landscape and woodlands including the beach which is a short walk from the house. There are many places to stay and eat in the local area as it is a popular holiday destination.
Hospitality
Tea and coffee available throughout the day, refreshments available during our morning break and hot lunch of farmhouse stew.
Topography
Some drives from game strips at the top of fields, others from woodland and wooded valley, which includes wild Ducks and small pond of driven Ducks if desired.
About the hosts
Menabilly Barton is a working farm run by Richard Dunn, he diversified into shooting and is supported by an enthusiastic team of local beaters who have been with him from the start.
