The Ballyward team is dedicated to offering clients a premier days shooting experience - a relatively modest shoot, with big aspirations , we pride ourselves on quality hospitality and offering our clients a truly boutique shooting experience. Situated at the edge of the Mourne Mountains Co Down, Ballyward Shoot offers superb driven and end of season mini driven shooting . The quarry is predominantly Pheasant, however Duck, Woodcock and Partridge are also present . We look forward to welcoming you and your team this season for what promises to be a truly memorable , relaxed and professional affair
Hospitality
The Price includes the provision of the following:- (1) All shoot staff including keepers, beaters, pickers up etc. necessary for shooting but not loaders (can be provided on request at additional cost) (2) Morning refreshments, Elevenses & Lunch
Our shoot room is a refurbished lodge , with a new dining experience bringing local artisan culinary delights to the field with a hospitality experience that we hope will make Ballyward that bit extra special!
Topography
Situated at the edge of the Mourne Mountains Co Down, Ballyward Shoot offers a superb driven and also offers end of season mini driven shoot experience.
The Estate is spread over 300 acres, consisting of mature woodland, surrounded by sloping hills. There are also significant wetlands thus attracting a wide variety of game. The woodland is ideal natural ground for the gundog enthusiast and game shooter. The topography of the ground lends itself to a high quality walked up and driven days.
About the hosts
Ballyward Shoot was established in 2012 by Husband and Wife team, Gavin & Naoimh McAteer - Gavin leads as master of the beat and Naoimh is Shoot captain.
It is a friendly shoot, which upholds traditional shooting values, and promotes a warm and welcoming environment for all guests
