West wales small farm shoot near Aberaeron based on circa 200 acres. We are a small syndicate of 6 or 7 guns looking for new members to shoot for 24/25 season. Expected bags of 30 birds per day shooting 6 days throughout the season with a reserved family day and a beaters day. Mix of pheasant, duck, snipe and woodcock. Both driven and walked up (snipe and woodcock). 500 pheasants and 200 ducks put down.
Topography
A mixture of snipe bog, ponds and wooded pasture, rushy pasture and willow scrub. Which combines to make a great habitat for both the released and wild birds.
Conservation Efforts
We have planted approximately 1,000 trees in 2024 to create new wooded areas for our pheasants. We graze native breed Belted Galloway cattle on the snipe bog during the summer months.
