Lucky Lake Hunting Adventures

Meals are included in your hunt. The food is home cooked and plentiful.

Breakfast- before the hunt a continental breakfast is provided early in the morning. Lunch- largest meal of the day around 11am, before a rest and back to hunting. Supper- light meal around 8pm after the afternoon hunt.

Snacks, fresh baking, coffee, tea, pop water, etc are always available.

Rooms are all double occupancy (most times you have your own rooms) with twin beds and their own bathrooms.

A TV area with couches is located in the loft to relax and relive your day's hunt.

Maid and towel service is provided every morning while you are hunting.

Hunts are a morning and afternoon affair. When hunting with us, you get 2 hunts every day of your hunt.

Both hunts can consist of several species of geese (Canada geese, snow/blue geese, whitefronted geese), Sandhill cranes, and a variety of ducks (mallards, pintails, American wigeon, teal, gadwall, shovelers, etc). All hunts are conducted over decoys on fresh feed fields or loafing ponds.

Limits per hunter: -Ducks - 8 daily - 24 possession -Canada geese/speckle belly geese - 8 daily - 24 possession -Snow geese - 20 daily - No possession -Sandhill cranes - 5 daily - 15 possession -Sharptail grouse - 3 daily - 6 possession -Hungarian partridge - 8 daily - 16 possession

Out hunting area is the true prairie pothole region of Saskatchewan. Rolling wheat fields and lush pastures are studded with wetlands and small lakes that provide all the ingredients for a prime waterfowl destination.

In our guiding off season, we do significant predator control to help our nesting populations.

As the owner not only do I live onsite, but I guide hunts every single morning. The rest of the staff consists of an afternoon guide, 2 dedicated scouts and 2 lodge staff. We only hunt your group in camp, so all resources are on you. We do not mix hunters to make "super groups". We take individual groups of 2-8 hunters.

Hunts are prices per person according to group size, per day with a minimum of 3 days.

You are responsible for getting to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan., from there your package takes over all responsibilities.

You will fly into Saskatoon International airport, where you will be met by a Lucky Lake Hunting Adventures staff member to be chauffeured to the lodge. If you need any alcoholic beverages for after the hunt or specific snacks, you will be taken to the appropriate stores.

If arrival or departure flights are outside of our pickup time, you will be required to overnight at a hotel in Saskatoon.

If you wish to bring your own firearm, you will be emailed the appropriate permits to fill out and present when you arrive in Canada. Gun rental and ammunition are included in the All Inclusive packages.

We strive to make your hunt a personal experience. I do not subscribe to the "factory" outfitting mentality of taking 10-20 hunters into the same field. I prefer to see groups of 4-6 and we look after your group. We do have packages for smaller and bigger groups available. The hunt is yours, you tell us how you want it to go.
