We are are group of friends that run a friendly driven Fen shoot .We shoot on Saturdays 60 -125 bird days . We sell full team days and we always have single gun days available .we are a mixed pheasant and partridge shoot ,pushed from game covers and small woods .you will be transported around the shoot in a purpose built shoot trailer and we have a new purpose built shoot room for lunch, full hospitality is always included on our shoot days because we believe it's as much about the atmosphere, as the quality birds shown we are a group of friends doing it purely for the love of the sport. We have over 15 main drives to pick from ,wind dependent ,to show quality and variety of birds at there best .we still have a good healthy stock of wild fen birds ,topped up with some released to help produce the days .
Hospitality
Breakfast sausage baps and a cuppa ,elevences a little sup , soft drink ,cuppa ,sausage rolls ,cake . Lunch is a sit down meal dependent of what chef is doing and a drink to wash down . End of the day cake and a cuppa .
Topography
Were a flat fenland shoot with a main wood ,which runs right through the spine of the shoot, for the release of the birds .most of our drives are blocks of maize pushed back to wood but with the wood being over 2 mile long you always set a good variety of birds .
About the hosts
There is a group of us in charge on the day ,all with differnt roles to make sure you day is memorable .you will be greeted in the morning while we have breakfast so we all get to know each other and meet the whole team behind the shoot .

I booked this shoot on behalf of our roving syndicate. The weather conditions were challenging to say the least with winds gusting to over 40mph. However the team at Cat water shoot did a superb job of putting quality birds over the guns with all 8 guns getting good shooting. The owners of this shoot have obviously invested heavily in the shoot with good amounts of cover having been put down and plenty of birds. The beating team were very professional and did a great job on a difficult day. Sausage baps and coffee welcomed us on arrival and a light lunch of soup, sausage rolls and cake was also very welcome. Sadly the post shoot dinner had to be cancelled due to Covid but that didn't spoil the day. In summary a thoroughly enjoyable day at a very professional shoot. Would thoroughly recommend.
