We run 4 different shoots in various locations across Bedfordshire & Northamptonshire both Wildfowling & pheasant shoots.
This particulat shoot is set in the heart of Bedfordshire at a private lake which was once a gravel pit. We are on the natural flight line of the River Great Ouse so we attract good numbers of varying wildfowl species. In addition to this we also release 300 duck which act as call duck.
This is a fully keepered shoot with 10 permanent hides located around the 30 acre gravel pit. The Guns move hides each time we shoot the lake. We start shooting at the beginning of sept till end of January and we shoot every 2 weeks. We always shoot Sundays, morning or evening flights depending when the birds are mainly flighting. We also flight geese early in the season using decoys & calls.
This is a really friendly shoot with only 10 syndicate members as well as a good team of well behaved Gundogs to ensure that everything that has been shot is picked up. None of the quarry is wasted, it is counted at the end of each shoot & guns will have the option to take braces home with them. Anything that is left is always proccessed & used.
Morning shoots are often followed by breakfast at a local venue which is always a great oportunity to talk about the highs of the mornings shoot!
If you are interested in this shoot or would like further information on any of our other shoots then please feel free to contact us.
