Guns are welcomed with breakfast and morning drinks on arrival, followed by traditional elevenses served in the field and refreshments throughout the day. A light lunch is enjoyed outdoors to keep the day flowing - unless otherwise requested. Each day is entirely bespoke, allowing us to tailor hospitality to suit your team’s needs. All food and drink are locally sourced, with a strong emphasis on quality and provenance - including estate-made liqueurs and light lunch bites crafted from venison shot here on the estate.

Expect traditional pheasants, fast-flying partridge and sporting duck - all beautifully presented across the varied landscape of the Estate. The terrain lends itself perfectly to both classic and traditional shooting, offering ample opportunity for every gun to get involved. Partridges come fast and dynamic over natural contours, while the pheasants - carefully selected for their strain - make full use of the rolling ground to present consistently challenging birds. With strong flushes and a wide variety of presentations, you'll have the freedom to pick your shots - whether you're looking to stretch your ability with higher, more testing birds, or prefer something more relaxed. There’s always plenty on offer, allowing you to shape the day around your own style and skill.

The shoot is set within the beautiful Bedfordshire–Hertfordshire countryside, spanning over 4,000 acres of rolling hills, natural contours, and varied terrain. Birds flush from a mix of cover crops, open ground, and high, mature woodland, offering a diverse and exciting landscape throughout the day. This unique setting not only provides a wealth of opportunity but also delivers truly memorable drives in ever-changing scenery across the Estate.

We incorporate additional AB9 cover strips across the ground, enhancing habitat diversity and supporting a wide range of wildlife. These areas provide vital food and shelter for game birds while also benefiting songbirds, pollinators, and small mammals. By balancing responsible shooting with careful land stewardship, we actively contribute to the health and biodiversity of the local ecosystem.
