We offer extraordinary Woodcock & Snipe, also Wild Duck days in North Wales & South West Scotland. We have lots of wetland shooting areas that are very attractive to Woodcock & Snipe, which have been very successful over the years.

North Wales There is 4 shooting areas set in 6000 acres. The Royal Oak in Betws-y-coed is our preferred hotel as it offers parking with good pubs and restaurants only a short walk away. There is also a park opposite to walk dogs. DBB standard rooms are £100 pp per night or £75 B&B. The Llyn Peninsula forest tracks give greater access to the woodlands to beat out and this should encourage Woodcock to roast. We are also taking more ground at Boduan, so we should have another two days back over mixed woodlands. Our mountain block at Cwm Pennant the lower slopes offering a full days shooting are being strimmed to allow shoot ways and accessible paths allowing greater access into and out of these areas.

South West Scotland Wigtown/Stranraer/Isle of Whithorn/Newton Stewart, 18000 acres total. Walked up Woodcock offers a challenge to both your reactions at short range and accuracy over long range. Join our team of dog handlers & guns to shoot this exciting species.

We offer the odd excellent pheasant and duck day just outside the Bath area. We have had multiple good reviews and the same clients coming back year after year. We provide brilliant high birds due to being a 'hilly' area which makes it real sporting.

There is also an occasional drive of wild ducks which is one of the best, excellent birds and a great community shoot atmosphere.

Reviews

Mr. Paul Cole

Mark made all the arrangements for a driven duck day near Bath. Really welcoming from Mark and Nigel and a sociable group of guns. Very well presented high birds. Would definitely make this a regular fixture.
