"Load & Shoot" is an organization dedicated to the activity of feather hunting in Santiago del Estero, Argentina, a very agricultural province where huge concentration of doves gather in search of grain every day. This population of birds makes Argentina to be considered the best wingshooting country in the world.

Our location is almost in the center of the country, a rural province called Santiago del Estero, great producer of grain such as corn, soy, sorghum, oats, among others, which attracts huge concentrations of doves

. Doves in our country are considered a federal pest. Massive numbers of them fly over our fields in search of grain. You can see them fly in flocks of thousands and even millions every day. Last statistics identified an estimate population of 35/40 million doves, increasing every year.

 Shooting doves in our country is unlimited, that is, shooters can shoot as many doves as desired. In a normal day, a participant can manage between 1500 to 2000 rounds, even exceed that number and go through the same average the following day. Dove season runs all year round and the flow of these birds never ends. We perform our hunts in areas surrounded by farmland. Most backgrounds are flat with a variety of vegetation and rich in wildlife.

For the moment, our lodging place is a cozy big hotel ,spacious in every corner, located in a very quiet area with no houses and buildings just surrounded by nature. This guesthouse is almost a stone thrown away from the hunting fields, so every shooter will not have to care and suffer from big rides. Its location is suitable for those who appreciate walks.

 After a long day of shooting you can also relax and feel welcomed into the local culture. On entering this exclusive hotel you will immediately sense its special warmth making you feel like being at home. Personal attention offered to each guest is what makes a great atmosphere and wonderful chemistry with the shooters. If you are a hungry shooter, you will be happy to be in Argentina. Our cuisine is based on tender meats with the most flavour, world class Argentinean asado (“barbecues”) and homemade desserts along with the finest local wines from Mendoza.

Access to Santiago del Estero province for all visitors is very simple. On arrival in Buenos Aires, passengers take a domestic flight to Santiago del Estero, with Aerolineas Argentinas. There are daily flights, except on Saturdays. By the time your plane is landing our personnel staff will be waiting for your  party ready to pick you up and drive you down to the lodge. It’s only 45 min driving on asphalt up to the lodge.

Taking your favorite guns into Argentina is very simple as well: Hunters are allowed to introduce up to two guns, on a temporary basis. The gun’s manufacturer, model, gauge, serial number and the passenger’s name and passport number must be provided to us at least 45 days before the arrival date. Hunting permits are processed prior to your arrival. Upon request, you will receive our shooting Questionnaire to fill out with this information.

Our unique price is U$D 1050 per hunter / 5 days / 4 nighs / 8 hunts.

• Acommodation at lodge with 4 daily meals, snacks and all beverages. Some meals are served right in the hunting areas.

• Ammo: U$D 13 per box of 25 cartridges 

• Gun rental U$D60 per day per hunter.

• Tips for birdboys, typically hunters pay U$D45/50 per day .

A CLASSIC ITINERARY… among many other programs.
DAY 1: Reception at SDE airport, transfer to Lodge (about 45 minutes) and accommodation. First hunt. Dinner.
DAYS 2-3-4 (or more, according to the program): Breakfast. Hunting in the morning and afternoon. Lunch and dinner at the lodge.
LAST DAY: Hunt in the morning. Lunch. Transfer to SDE airport. End of our services. 

Mixed-bag hunt U$D 1600 per hunter 
Not only do we provide dove hunting, but also mixed-bag hunts for you to alternate your hunts. Dove, duck, pigeon and partridge combined on your own choosing. All the hunts are carried away in the same areas of Santiago del Estero and by “L & S hunting Co.” The estimated shots are 15-20 shell boxes on a day of pigeon hunt, 3-5 shell boxes for a duck shoot and a bit more for partridge.

The schedule for each hunt varies in as much as every location has different distances to reach, but early in the morning we will wake you up and after having a hearty breakfast, we immediately head over to the hunting grounds.  It takes only 15-20 minutes to get to all the hunting spots, except for our duck hunt area.
By selecting mixed-bag combo option you will be experiencing four different hunts and alternate them not to make it too repetitive. This hunting program consists of one day and a half of dove hunt, one day of pigeon, two  or three for duck and once for partridge. There is no restricted limit on dove hunt, but there are for pigeon, duck and partridge. Duck and partridge season runs from May 1st to August 10th.
