As featured in the Shooting Gazette

This friendly shoot situated on the North West coast of Anglesey has been around for over 30 years, providing a wide range of driven, mixed and rough shooting to teams on the doorstep and as far flung as New Mexico, America, Portugal, France Italy and Spain!.

A variety of cover crops have been crafted into the rugged landscape on the farm to provide holding cover for the Pheasant, Partridge, and Mallard in naturally elevated poitions.

The farms natural habitats provide perfect conditions for an abundance of  Widgeon, Teal, Woodcock and Snipe.

Mynachdy is some 1200 acres farmed inhand as a mixed livestock farm that integrates well with the shoot. Recently, 120 acres of woodland have been replanted which now hosts excellent driven Partridge and Woodcock shooting.

Days range from 120 - 220 birds and are fully inclusive of coffee on arrival, elevenses, shoot meal in the converted shoot room and wine.

The typical day would include 6 drives starting with coffee, also lunch can be taken or the party can shoot through and have an evening meal dependant on requirements.

The topography of the farm is excellent especially Mynachdy's signature drive giving breath taking views with guns standing on the beach and around the Inland sea having pheasants pushed off the cliff tops over them.

Just 15 minutes off the A55 junction 4 means this farm is easily accessible.

8 guns would be ideal but 7-10 is acceptable.

A range of hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts can be found within local distance we would be happy to arrange this for you.

We would be more than happy to discuss your requirements please feel free to contact me on the details below

Mynachdy is an excellent shoot. Myself and two friends were to have two days shooting this season 2010/11 Johnjo Roberts and shoot captain Giles Drew and university friends gave us a very warm welcome,The topography lends itself to some amazing drives which produced a varied sport from high curling pheasant to some challaging, partrige and ducks. The Keeper Malcolm and his team worked hard presenting quality sport and made great work picking up, If during your day you find yourself on number 4 or 5 pegs at 'Pant Mawr' you will really have a treat in store. The big woodburning stove in Gun Room is always kept us warm even on the coldest day. The meal and atmosphere at the end of the day was excellent. I have had some memorable days there and hope to go back next season can thoroughly recommend Mynachdu to everyone.

Mynachdy may be at the end of the road, and if you're lucky you may end up drawn stood on a beach, but I will guarantee it will be one seaside trip you will never forget. The welcome is warm and friendly as is the banter. Malcolm( the keeper) and his team did one of the best jobs I have ever seen in steadily presenting the birds on each drive. Pant Mawr being from what appeared to be a bleak hill top where cover, bracken and tree residues gave cover, produced fast and climbing sporting birds. Inland Sea where excellent birds climbed, curled or just went for it was an altogether unforgettable experience. Jonjo Roberts and his university mates put on a day to match the surroundings, and it is a memory I treasure.

A great day, atmosphere and banter are second to none. The shoot is set in a beautiful location, is well run with birds and drives to suit all abilities. Their is a great gun room to lounge and the shoot is suprising accessable.

Amazing place, the views, the drives, layout and topography. Some of the best shooting I've had. Never been so lucky to have such a variety of game and wildfowl in one days shoot. My favourite drives were the inland sea where the birds climb as they launch off the cliff and curl over all the guns, your stood right next to the sea or drawn on the beach itself! Very challenging birds! I would have loved to have a left and right woodcock because you certainly got your chances on the woodcock drive inamong some wetland forestry area. Finally another drive I really liked was the snipe bog, not something I have seen very often before having a whole drive specifically with the aim of driving snipe over guns, and were there some snipe!!! Definately recommend it, everyone is very helpful and just couldn't do enough to ensure you enjoyed your day.

Absolutely fantastic days shooting. A very well organised and fun bunch of young lads who's aim it is for you to have the best day possible. Breath taking scenery as one drive i was standing on the beach facing an 80ft rock face which to my suprise was the flushing point for some of the most testing pheasants i have ever shot at!!! if this wasn't testing enough i also had to contend with a seal splashing around in the sea some 20 yards from my peg. Overall i truely great days shooting in some of the best scenery Britain as to offer. Highly Recommended!!
