The power of social media is undeniable, whether you’re keeping in touch with distant friends and relations via Whatsapp, promoting a business, or campaigning on a cause dear to your heart. One region of social media that is entirely wholesome is the ‘game cookery’ subculture. It is populated with game enthusiasts, both professional and amateur, who are simply looking to get other people as excited about cooking with this country’s amazing wild harvest as they are.

Each year GunsOnPegs sponsors the Eat Game Awards category that looks to celebrate the work of these ambassadors for our way of life, whose efforts do so much to help safeguard the future of fieldsports by introducing the wider public to the joys of cooking and eating game. This year’s shortlisted candidates have been nominated by the shooting community and beyond, and embody this ethos perfectly. Cast your vote for your favourite nominee to ensure that they get the recognition that you think they deserve.
