Best feature: The Meindl Memory Foam System inside the boot is absolutely brilliant. Once warmed, the foam moulds to the shape of your foot keeping you exceptionally comfortable for the duration.
Feature to be aware of: These are a heavy boot compared to some others available on the market but that does also give them a particular sturdiness and durability. The materials used (waxed Nubuck leather uppers and the high rubber rand protection) make them feel indestructible.
Most surprising feature: After walking a lot of miles in these boots through both woodland and over mountainous terrain, I have crossed many shallow rivers and streams that fully covered the boots and to this day I am yet to get a wet sock.
Type of hunting aimed at: These are not only perfect for stalking and walked up shooting but are also a brilliant option for those who are open to wearing boots on the peg. They offer a fantastic alternative to the much favoured wellington boot and will keep your toes warm and dry in most conditions that you will face in the UK.

Why I should consider this product: Meindl have over 300 years of boot-making experience and that is shown in these well-made boots which will keep you warm, dry and comfortable in most conditions (I have worn them in snowy Scotland in temperatures as low as -7 but I am yet to test them on one of my trips to Scandinavia – I will keep you posted).
