Christmas Gift Guide 2019 - For Him

George Browne - GunsOnPegs · 6 Dec 2019

A selection of products from our favourite outdoor brands that we think would make great Christmas gifts for the sporting gent in your life.

Do you struggle to know what to get your father/brother/boyfriend/husband for Christmas? I feel your pain. Speaking personally, my father and both my brothers shoot, which means that if I have no inspiration at all, I can always fall back on this. Lots of sporting brands have excellent products outside of shooting equipment, if that all seems a bit daunting, and we've collected a few of our favourites together here, with a good mix of shooting accessories and clothing from countryside brands.

Countryside Christmas Gifts for Men

The Trafalgar - ankle boots from Fairfax & Favor - £235

Fairfax and Favor have a reputation for making high-quality footware that bridges the gap between town and country, and these stylish brown leather ankle boots are a great example. They're smart enough for city life when paired with jeans or some chinos, but the water resistant membrane and rendered-rubber commando sole mean that they'll serve just as well for a Boxing Day stroll in the countryside.

The accompanying app even allows you to livestream the video to your smartphone. The glasses have interchangable high-impact lenses for protection from stray particles and UV rays.
