Make the most of the Purdey sale

Is it possible to own too many hats? I don't think so, which is why my wife is constantly giving me grief about the size of my collection. A flat cap has always been part of traditional shooting attire, but like much country clothing is a blend of form and function. This cap is no different - stylish and practical - it is available in several different tweeds, and has a waterproof, breathable membrane between the tweed and satin lining to guard against downpours. What's more, a good flat cap need not be confined to the shooting field, so when those April showers come along, you'll thank your stars that you bought this hat!

Make sure you stay comfortable next season (or on walked up days this January) with these classic breeks, updated in Purdey's technical tweed. The fabric is one third lighter than traditionally woven tweed through a combination of yarn twist and the introduction of a very small amount of nylon, making it resitant to friction and abrasion, making it ideal for yomping over hill and dale, or through thorny landscapes. The tweed has a Teflon coating which causes water to bead and roll off, helping you to stay dry and warm. Our Director of Sales Frank Stephenson put a fieldcoat made from the same material to the test last season by taking it out wildfowling and it performed admirably.
