With over 30 different top gunmakers and millions of pounds of guns on show, guests can browse each gunmaker’s table and easily make their own judgment on their gun of choice. The event is unique in that so many gunmakers are just a few feet from each other, allowing you to handle a Holland & Holland and then a Purdey just a moment later for example. It also enables guests to chat to the makers and find out more about the history of the company and further details behind the designs of many of the famous guns we know today.

The event, organised by GunsOnPegs, is now in its fifth year and is one of a kind. Created specifically to bring many of the world’s finest gunmakers together under one roof for an evening, rather than the usual three-day game fair graft, it has become hugely appealing to exhibitors and guests alike.
This year the event returns to the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge, London where guests can enjoy champagne and sample some five star canapes whilst perusing the exhibitor tables. Overlooking the Cadogan Gardens and Sloane Street the luxurious Jumeirah Carlton Tower is home to this event for the third year running and offers the most accessible, exclusive and intimate location for a demonstration of exceptional talent and artistry in the gunmaking world.

Some of the gunmakers exhibiting at this year’s event include Holland & Holland, James Purdey & Sons, Boss & Co, William Evans, US-based company Syren, who are rarely seen on display in the UK, and relatively new to the industry London based Smith & Torok gun and rifle makers. As well as exquisite shotguns and rifles for guests to admire and dry mount, there will be an array of other opulent brands to examine such as Hull Cartridges, Leica Optics, Albion Sporting, Foxdenton Gin and Boodles all displaying their luxuries, as well as top sporting agent Bettws Hall.
This year’s event is sponsored by Sunseeker London, the leading distributor in luxury motor yachts. Just like bespoke master gunmakers, Sunseeker focus on the individuality of their boats encompassing vital aspects of the owner’s personality and lifestyle and tailoring each commission to suit.
