Following on the success of their online mayfly festival, the latest digital event from Orvis focusses on our four-legged friends, with expert advice on all things doggy.

Orvis UK has launched its first virtual Orvis We Love Dogs Festival, to take place on the @OrvisUK social media from Saturday 13th June until Sunday 28th June 2020.

Following the success of the inaugural ‘Orvis Virtual Mayfly Festival’, celebrating a special time of year for anglers in the UK and removing the barriers to entry into fly fishing for beginners, Orvis UK is turning its attention to the celebration of dogs.

Brian Campbell-Kearsey, Marketing Director at Orvis UK said: “As a company, we love dogs and want to communicate the many benefits they bring. Dogs are a key part of our lifestyle and we love them like family members – when it came to choosing the name for this festival, the bold statement of ‘We Love Dogs’ just fitted.”

He continued, “We want to communicate the companionship a dog brings whether on the river bank, as part of the family and the added health wellbeing benefits they bring to their owners. We decided to launch the first ‘Orvis We Love Dogs Virtual Festival’, during this difficult time, to celebrate and offer interesting content during lockdown. We hope this will be a fun and educational fortnight for our customers and followers.”
