The ‘Premium’ is a beautiful model which came out almost two year ago now and it still stands out from the rest of the range in that it is not just an old model with a facelift, it features a new lockplate design which is unique amongst Spanish gunmakers – the pinless lock.
The Pinless Sidelock
Indeed, it is the only Spanish sidelock with this feature. The essence of the ‘pinless’ sidelock is that the heads of the internal screws which secure all the working parts inside the lock plates do not protrude through to the outside of the place itself, allowing for an uninterrupted expanse of steel on which the engraver can display his skill and artistry.
In the case of the standard version, the Premium in adorned with bold acanthus leaf in a semi-relief style, but the gun can be engraved with any number of other styles such as game scenes and fine scroll if preferred.
The Premium is stocked as standard with Nº 1 quality walnut and finished with a lustrous oil finish and built to the customer’s measurements without a surcharge. It is made in all the popular bores, 12, 16, 20, 28 and .410, each on a proportionate action body, ensuring superb balance and handling characteristics.
