The Miroku MK60 and MK70 models have always been popular in the UK. Browning UK have been delighted to have had input into a new model MK60 Grade 5 32” Fixed Choke model (known as the High Pheasant,) designed specifically for the UK game market. It is distinguished by long, well-presented, fixed choked 32" barrels and a higher stock comb than was previously standard on this model. The old features remain - classic Browning B25 inspired action, fine wood, hand-cut checkering, hand-engraving and regulation in the traditional manner.
The rib is narrow as befits a game gun. Barrels are 3" chambered and made on the monobloc system, back-bored, and finely blacked. The RRP for this exciting new model MK60 is a most reasonable £2,500, or, £5,500 for a pair in a leather motor case. The pairs are consecutively numbered in gold. The guns have already proved extremely popular with all of the production pre-sold to our dealers.

Feedback has already been extremely positive. Well known game and clay shot, Mike Yardley recently shot a pair of guns at the excellent E.J.Churchill shooting ground near High Wycombe. Michael did not miss any simulated game birds with a 32" specimen of the new gun and noted after the session: "These are great handling machines, and I am sure they will prove extremely popular with the high bird boys in particular. Many have been using guns like the MK38 - originally intended as a clay gun - as a functional workhorse for tall birds knowing that can take real punishment without transmitting too much of it to the shoulder. I think the new guns, dedicated to the game shot, will prove just as popular. With the long, narrow-ribbed, barrel they are both lively and very pointable. They worked as well for me on the close-in stuff as the long birds where there qualities really shine. Price for a hand-finished gun is not only competitive, it is remarkable. The form of the stocks is particularly pleasing as well as the excellent specification. I am considering buying a pair myself for the season'', said MIke Yardley.
